Vote for the People?
Move
beyond politics, caste, community, religion or for that matter above party, personality
creed; this general election 2019, vote for the people, who you think deserve
to live with dignity, freedom and equality; in a just world with equal rights
and opportunity to livelihood and prosperity. Theoretically, sounds real, but pragmatically
conspicuous by its absence. Be the change!
Voices from
across the nation must sound the bugle for a new dawn this general election, in
choosing “rightful” leaders and “true” representatives of the people who should
govern the nation and shape the destiny of its people. It’s time, shouldn’t we
say “enough is enough”.
All parties must
face the test of nation’s vikash deliberations,
people’s plight, growing “intolerance”, which are defining their unpredictable mood.
They have to find answers to distresses and insecurity that’s making the people
take to the streets, raise voices as a mark of protest and movement on
different mediums. “The nation wants to know”, Right?
Why should
farmers be forced to commit suicide? Why should the nation bear the shame of “horrific
“rape cases every day? Why should a large population of marginalized
section of the society – tribal communities, socially and economically deprived
people – continue to live in dearth without sufficient access to basic amenities
of life, minimum living standards and opportunities. Why should the nation be divided
due to vote-bank politics and communal polarization? Why benefits of growth and
development not reach every nook and corner of the country and its people? Why there’s extremisms and hypernationlism? What about the youth of the nation? Have
we fulfilled the promises we made to the people? Many more such questions and
concerns need to be addressed. People have become wise enough to say “No means
No”.
The nation needs a “level playing field” to create opportune avenues and frameworks for all and a better place to live.
The political fortunes will also be defined by
the “new-age voters” – the young electorate. According to the Election Commission
of India’s data, over two crore young people (18-20 yrs) have been already
registered in the electoral rolls. Not to mention here that their participation
in matters of national interest and activism has greatly set the momentum and
mood of the nation.
It’s not
only about the ‘haves’, now it’s time the ‘have-nots’ are to be drawn out of
ages-old adverse life and brought into the mainstream with dignity and
respectful livelihood. The nation needs a “level playing field” to create opportune avenues and
framework for all and a better place to live. The
country needs to move ahead together, rightfully said “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikash”.
Every vote
counts! The people of this nation need to awake from the shambles of long drawn
abandonment, darkness of ignorance and give a clarion call to every citizen of
this country to vote for rights, equality, freedom, liberty and justice.
Let’s make the
2019 Lok Sabha election a defining moment in the history of India, a new era of
democratic manifestation and governance, when people of this country shows
their wisdom to vote for the people - their betterment and secure future. So, let
the fittest person who can stand for this and can work to make them a reality
win. What say?
The 2019 Lok Sabha election will be a test of nation’s democratic supremacy, people’s wisdom and electoral maturity.
Enfranchise
your valuable rights by electing rightful representatives of the people
- who can be true “benevolent” leaders of masses, emphatic idealists,
challengers who can be agents of change themselves and torch bearers of the
future generations. Leaders - not
pseudo-politicians who make “fake” electoral promises and play to gallery of
vote-bank politics - who understand the pulse of the nation and have the vision
for India be voted to power.
All said and
done, this time around, it will be a test of nation’s democratic supremacy, people’s wisdom
and electoral maturity.
The 2019
Lok Sabha election will see which political party or alliance can successfully create
the right buzz and narrative to win the mandate of the people.
