The Verdict!

Today, the nation needs Mr Narendra Modi, as much, the nation needs Mr Rahul Gandhi. Stay put! It's not all about winning or losing. The Parliament is the real center of power. As true leaders and trusted representatives of the people, the responsibility lies in you to provide better governance and dignified life to the citizens of the country. The 'election verdict' of the citizens is the mandate for the government to lead the nation.

The 'nation first', the 'people first', is the verdict. All naratives and arithmetic revolve around these two themes. Citizens of the country – INDIA – world's most populous democracy, have 'come of age’. Lok Sabha 2019 election manifests the mood of the nation and speaks volumes about what beholds the nation’s present and ensuing future.

The wisdom shown by the people, in enfranchising their fundamental duty by casting their votes to choose their leaders of the nation, is a clear mandate for a ‘new India' and a ‘strong India’.

This ‘historic mandate’ is a verdict of the people, for the people and by the people.

Election results of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls – which witnessed the participation of around 600 million people, with over 8,000 candidates – manifest that the nation is evolving and so are its people. The growth of nation is embedded in the vision of the people to see the ‘change’ and their aspirations and dreams for a ‘strong’ and ‘prosperous’ India.

What’s the driving force behind the ‘historic verdict’? Ask the people! They have the ‘be-fitting’ answers to every question. Whom they voted and why they voted? They know it all and are well-informed to make their own wise choices and decisions. Now, they know well who are ‘worthy enough’ to shape their better future and lead the nation.

Hope is the ‘silver lining’ that can well define ‘the verdict’ that the people have given in this election. However, as usual, after the elections are over, a lot can be ‘scrutinized’, ‘talked’ and ‘discussed’, but the fact is that the people of the nation has once again given their verdict. So be it!

Now, the onus lies on the chosen leaders and the government to stand up to the expectations of the people and perform best to fulfill their promises that would guarantee inclusive growth of all the sections of society with equal opportunities and livelihood and overcome all the challenges for peace, security and prosperity of the nation.

It's as simple, honor ‘the verdict’ and follow the mandate!
