I THINK, therefore I AM!

Being Rahul Gandhi and his significance in India’s politics cannot be written off. Not yet! Like any other political leader, he has come a long way and cannot just quit or stop working and doing things he believes are better for the nation and its people because the politicking by him and his party could not win the mandate of people in the Lok Sabha 2019 elections.

His growth as a leader, who can lead the nation, can only be told by his growing acceptability among people. Sheer numbers, results do not just qualify any political leader, negate his/her commitment, hard work and trust that he or she has in people of the nation. We cannot put a ‘full stop’ on Rahul Gandhi’s political journey.

Both the nation and its leaders have learned to respect and accept election results with wisdom.

The “dynasty” rhetoric is not sincere and has no real meaning. Rahul Gandhi is ‘blessed’ being born in the Gandhi family; we cannot question his destiny, none can, and like anyone of us, as a citizen of the country, he has his own rights, prerogative and freedom to carry on the legacy of his family. He has the prudence and an equal opportunity to pursue works and ideas he thinks is right for himself and the nation.

It’s just 70+! What’s dynasty rule? India’s freedom struggle history had its own course and the nation is moving ahead. Is the Lok Sabha 2019 election mandate not the true manifestation of the nation’s evolution? Leaders are born and made! If Mr Narendra Modi can win to become the Prime Minister of the country for the second consecutive time, what's wrong if Rahul Gandhi doesn't for the second consecutive time. It’s people’s verdict. What is good for the nation and the people should matter the most. It’s good for Modi, it’s good for Rahul and it’s good for the nation.

Celebrate the victory of people; after all we are all contesting for the same cause – acche din aayenge – winning or losing does not change the course of action and giving up on who and where we are.

Change is the only constant!
